The Peoples Gas Natural Gas Savings Program offers incentives to encourage business customers to make energy-efficient improvements. Reduce your energy use, shrink your carbon footprint and make your workplace more comfortable through seven programs:
- Commercial & Industrial Prescriptive Rebate Program
Commercial and industrial customers can get rebates when they install certain types of high-efficiency furnaces, boilers, boiler reset controls, water heaters, steam traps, vent dampers and commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers and steamers. - Commercial & Industrial Custom Rebate Program
Commercial and industrial customers interested in energy-efficiency upgrades not covered by the Prescriptive Rebate Program can apply for incentives under the Commercial and Industrial Custom Rebate Program. - Commercial & Industrial Direct Install Program
At no cost to you, Peoples Gas will install energy-efficient products at your business. - Small Business Energy Savings Program (with ComEd)
Through this partnership with ComEd, small businesses that use less than 60,000 therms of natural gas and less than 110 kilowatts of electricity annually can receive free on-site energy assessments. - Competitive Bid Program
The Competitive Bid Program allows commercial and industrial facilities to compete for increased rebates needed to implement qualifying natural gas energy efficiency projects. - Gas Optimization Services Program
The Gas Optimization Services Program provides customers with access to engineering services to identify efficiency opportunities that provide significant natural gas savings with low implementation costs. - Retro-Commissioning Program (with ComEd)
Through this partnership with ComEd, commercial and industrial customers can receive help retro-commissioning their buildings.
