Peoples Gas is required to conduct inspections of our equipment when it is located inside your home. If you receive notice that you are due for an inside safety inspection, schedule an appointment immediately by calling the phone number on the notice.
The inside safety inspections (ISI) includes inspections of inside gas meters and associated service piping into the meter.
Inside safety inspections are:
- Conducted on company-owned equipment located inside your home to ensure your safety
- Completed within a few minutes
- Offered Monday through Saturday
- Free
