Natural gas service near West Palmer Street and North Spaulding Avenue in Logan Square has been temporarily disrupted, impacting service to customers in the area.
We have multiple crews on the scene to ensure the safety of our customers while we complete repairs and identify the cause of the disruption.
We expect restoration of service to begin this afternoon.
Once service is restored, our crews will be going door-to-door to relight appliances. An adult 18 or older will need to be home to provide access to our meter and all natural gas appliances.
We understand how difficult it is to be without natural gas service, and our crews are working as quickly as possible to safely restore service.
Peoples Gas crews will remain on the scene until all customers are safely reconnected to natural gas service.
