Weatherization and repair programs

Weatherizing your home is simple and affordable and will make a difference in your winter heating bills. Programs are available to help income-eligible customers with weatherization projects. Customers with financial difficulties are encouraged to take advantage of these programs to reduce their bills.

Home Weatherization Assistance Program

Roof and Porch Repair Program

The Roof and Porch Repair Program is a City of Chicago program that helps homeowners make improvements to their homes. Interested parties must register in a lottery for a chance to apply for a grant. Emergency Heating Repair Program

The Emergency Heating Repair Program is a City of Chicago program that provides grants to Chicago homeowners who face heating emergencies. Households earning 80 percent or less of the area median income are eligible to participate in the program.
